Reading a proposal

What the line items, the total, and the valid-until date each mean.

A project we are working onUpdated Aug 5, 2026

Every proposal is a list of lines, and the total is their sum. Nothing is rolled into a single figure you cannot break apart.

Line items

Each line names a piece of work and its price. If a line does not make sense, reply on the inquiry and ask. Changing a line means a new version of the proposal, not an edit to the one you are holding.

Valid until

A quote stands until the date shown on it. After that the Accept button stops working, and you need a fresh version. Ask for one and we will send it.

What accepting does

Accepting records your answer against that exact version. The version you accepted stays readable in your account afterwards.
