Start a project

Tell us what you need built

An engineer reads every one of these. You will get questions before you get a number, and the number arrives as a written proposal you can accept or turn down.

How this goes

01

You describe the work

What exists now, what you want instead, and anything already fixed. Two or three sentences is a fine start.

02

We ask questions

Scoping happens in the thread on your project page, so the answers stay attached to the work rather than scattered through an inbox.

03

You get a proposal

The work broken into lines, each with a price, and a date the quote stands until. Accepting it is what starts the project.

We publish no price list. What a project costs depends on what it turns out to be, and a number written before the questions have been asked is a guess with a dollar sign on it.

An inquiry carries a status you will want to check, a thread with whoever picks it up, and eventually a proposal only you can read. All of that needs an account to live on. General questions go through the contact form instead.
