How do I verify a firmware download?
Every firmware file ships with a SHA-256 checksum and a signature shown next to the download button. After downloading, compute the file's SHA-256 (certutil -hashfile file.bin SHA256 on Windows, shasum -a 256 file.bin on macOS/Linux) and compare it to the published value. If it does not match, delete the file and download again.
Which firmware do I pick for my board?
Firmware is published per board target (for example SPX_F722_A1). Your target code is printed on the flight controller and listed on your drone model page under hardware revisions. Flashing the wrong target can brick the board, so match the target code exactly.
What is the difference between stable and beta channels?
Stable releases are flight tested across supported hardware revisions. Beta releases are feature previews that passed bench tests only. Do not fly beta firmware on a build you cannot afford to lose.
Are printed parts flight rated?
No. Printed parts are sold for prototyping, experimental, and hobby use, and are not certified for safety-critical aircraft. Layer adhesion varies with material and print orientation. Inspect parts before and after every flight.
Do I need to register my drone?
In the US, drones over 250 g generally must be registered and broadcast Remote ID. Complete drones and complete kits we sell follow the applicable Part 89 requirements. Individual parts do not require registration on their own. See the compliance page for details.
What is your return policy?
Unused stock parts can be returned within 30 days. Printed-to-order parts are made for you and cannot be returned unless defective. Firmware access is tied to your account and drone model. The full rules, including the RMA process, battery restrictions, and refund timing, are in the Returns and Refund Policy under Legal.
